Support Services

The Support Services Department consists of the following divisions:  Facilities & Energy Division, Public Safety Telecommunications Division and Information Technology Division.  Each division reports to the Director of Support Services.

The department coordinates the efforts of its three divisions in concert with the operation of all city departments to achieve optimal effectiveness through the leverage of synergies of each division to be cost effective while delivering the greatest level of support for operational success.
 

The department alleviates duplication of effort, streamlines the management of roles and responsibilities and shares in some administrative functions such as timekeeping, purchasing, accounts payable and budgeting.
