1. U.S. Citizen, 18 years of age and a bona-fide resident.
2. Pre-registration of 17 years of age become eligible to vote on 18th birthday.
3. If previously convicted of a felony, have completed sentence and had rights restored by a registrar.
4. Register in Registrar's office from 8:15AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Some form of identification must be presented.
5. Registration by mail applications are available by calling the Registrar's office or by downloading the form here.
6. Hearing impaired applicants may call Hartford TDD (860) 566-1730.

Fill out a voter application form in-person at the Registrars of Voters office in Room 507 at City Hall, or by calling the office at 860-826-3310 and a form will be mailed to you or download form HERE. Be sure to Print and Sign the completed on-line form and mail immediately to the Registrars of Voters office at 27 West Main St. Room 507, New Britain, CT 06051.
