Directions to Smalley Academy

From I-84 East - Waterbury

• Take Exit #35 (left lane exit) onto Route 72.
• Travel approximately 2 l/2 miles to the Downtown - Main Street exit.
• Make a left at the end of the exit.
• Proceed on Martin Luther King Drive.
• After the third traffic light, take the first left onto Talcott Street.
• Smalley is located on the right at the top of the hill.

From I-84 West - Hartford

• Take Exit 39a onto Route 9 South.
• Travel approximately 5 l/2 miles south on Route 9.
• Take Exit #28 to East Main Street. Make a right on East Main Street.
• Travel to the next traffic light and turn right onto Martin Luther King Drive.
• After the third traffic light, take the first left onto Talcott Street.
• Smalley School is located on the right at the top of the hill.

From Route 9 North - Middletown

• Take Route 9 North to the Downtown New Britain Exit #26.
• At the end of the exit ramp, continue straight onto Columbus Boulevard and Chestnut Street.
• Turn left onto Chestnut Street and go one block.
• Take a right at the light and proceed over the Truman Overpass onto Martin Luther King Drive.
• Travel through three traffic lights. After the third light, take the first left onto Talcott Street.
• Smalley School is located on the right at the top of the hill.
