Recycling Center Operations
The City’s Recycling Center located at 642 Christian Lane, Berlin, offers residents another opportunity to dispose of a variety of items in addition to the refuse and recycling services that the City offers at the curbside.
Depending on the item you are looking to dispose of there may or may not be a fee for its disposal at the Recycling Center, and many items such as mattresses, electronics, and metal waste can be disposed of at the Recycling Center at no cost. General waste such as household trash, construction debris, and other similar materials can be disposed of at the City’s Recycling Center for a fee of $160.00/ton (equals to $0.08/lbs) with minimum transaction fees of $10 (up to 100 lbs) and $20 (from 101 lbs to 240 lbs).
A guide on how to dispose of and recycle various items and fees, if applicable, are shown in the City’s Refuse and Recycling Disposal Guide.
