Paving Detailed Daily Updates
Daily Update:
Thursday, August 3 - Stanwood Cr, Barnard Rd, and Stanwood Dr were completed today. This completes the paving portion of the Pavement Rehabilitation Program. Pavement markings will be laid out and completed in the next few weeks. Cracksealing of city roads will also begin in September.
Wednesday, August 2 - Jones Dr and Beechwwod Dr were completed today. Stanwood Cr, Barnard Rd and the remainder of Stanwood Dr will be completed tomorrow.
Tuesday, August 1 - The first course was completed on Stanwood Dr and Barnard Rd. The top course was completed on Kerin Dr and Fairlane Dr. The top course was also started on Stanwood Dr. Beechwood Dr and Jones dr will be completed tomorrow.
Monday, July 31 - The first course was completed today on Fairlane Dr, Kerin Dr, Stanwood Cir, Beechwood from Slater Rd to Stanwood Dr, Stanwood Dr from the north end to Beechwood Dr, and Jones Dr. Tomorrow the first course will be completed on the remainder of Beechwood Dr, Stanwood Dr, and Barnard Rd. The top course will also be started on Kerin Dr, Fairlane Dr, and Stanwood Dr.
Friday, July 28 - Corbin Av was completed today. The first course of asphalt will be placed on Fairlane Dr, Kerin Dr, Stanwood Cr, and Stanwood Drive (north of Beechwood Dr). If time permits, Jones D will also be started. An updated schedule is attached.
Thursday, July 27 - The top course on Corbin Ave from Overlook Ave to Horseplain Rd was partially completed today. The remainder of Corbin Ave from Overlook Ave to Farmington Ave will be completed tomorrow.
Wednesday, July 27 - I apologize for not getting this out last night. Corbin Av was completed from Osgood Av to Overlook Av. Corbin Av, from Overlook Av to Farmington Av, will be working on Thursday and Friday.
Tuesday, July 25 - The paving contractor had a long day and completed Main St, Beaver St and North St. Corbin Av, between Osgood Av and Overlook Av, will be worked on tomorrow.
Monday, July 24 - Sunrise Ave, Judd Ave, Charles St, and Fourth St were completed today. Tomorrow paving will begin at 5:00am on Main St. North St and Beaver St will be worked on as well.
Friday, July 21 - Paving is cancelled for today due to the earlier rain and forecast rain. Charles St, Fourth St, and the remainder of Judd Ave and Sunrise Ave will be completed on Monday.
Thursday, July 20 - Abbe st, City Ave, Judd Ave from Market to Childs, Sunrise Ave from Market to Childs, and Childs street were completed today. Tomorrow, Charles St, Fourth St, and the remainder of Judd Ave and Sunrise Ave will be completed.
Wednesday, July 19 - Market St and Connecticut Av were completed today. The following will be completed tomorrow:
- City Av
- Judd Av (Market St to Childs St)
- Abbe St
- Sunrise Av (Market St to Childs St)
- Childs St
Tuesday, July 18 - Due to equipment problems at the asphalt plant, there was not much progress today. Howard St was completed and Market St was started. Market St, Connecticut Av and City Av will be completed tomorrow if the plant is operating.
Monday, July 17 - The following streets were completed today:
- Judd Av (East St to Market St)
- Sunrise Av (East St to Market St)
- Wilbur St
- Howard St (half)
For tomorrow, Howard St will be completed then Market St and Connecticut Av. If all goes well City Av will also be completed tomorrow.
Friday, July 14 - Pave was canceled today due to the rain. For Monday...the top course will be placed on Judd Av, Wilbur St and Sunrise Av (between East St and Market St). Howard St also if time permits. An updated projected schedule is posted.
Thursday, July 13 - We experienced some delays today due to equipment problems and did not complete as much as expected. Today, the first course was placed on Charles St and City Av. The top course of pavement was also placed on City Av (between East St and Market St). Weather pending the top course will be placed on Judd Av, Wilbur St and Sunrise Av (between East St and Market St).
Wednesday, July 12 - Due to mechanical issues, the paving crew did not get as far as planned. The first course was placed on City Ave from Market St to Childs St, Judd Ave from Market St to Charles St, Sunrise Ave from Market St to Childs St, Abbe St, and Childs St. Tomorrow the first course will be paved on Judd Ave from Charles St to the town line, Sunrise Ave from Charles St to the town line, Charles St, Fourth St, and City Ave from East St to Market St. The top course will also be placed on Howard St, Wilbur St, and Sunrise Ave from East St to Market St.
Tuesday, July 11 - The first course was placed on Howard St, Wilbur St, Market St, and Connecticut St today. The first course was also placed on Judd Ave from East St to Market St, Childs St from the north end to Judd Ave, and Sunrise Ave from East St to Market St. The first course will be completed on Judd Ave, City Ave, Abbe St, Sunrise Ave, Fourth St, Charles St, and Childs St tomorrow. The top course will also be placed on Howard St.
Monday, July 10 - With the rain delay this morning altered the schedule a little. Carlson St, Chapman Ct and Chapman St we completed today. The first course will be placed on Sunrise Av, Howard St, Wilbur Sr, Judd Av, City Av, Connecticut Av and Market St tomorrow.
Friday, July 7 - There is a change in the paving schedule. Paving will begin on the east side of the City due to utility construction on streets to be paved on the west side of the City. The first course of asphalt will be placed on Carlson St, Chapman Ct, Chapman St, Market St, Childs St, Charles St and Fourth St on Monday. An updated project schedule is posted.
Thursday, July 6 - Milling on Market St, Chapman St, Chapman Ct, and Carlson St was completed today. This completes the milling portion of this year's paving program. Paving will begin Monday, July 10th, on Carlson St, Chapman Ct, Chapman St, and Market St.
Wednesday, July 5 - Milling on Sunrise Ave was completed today. Market St from Connecticut Ave to Sunrise Ave was also milled today. The remainder of Market St, Chapman St, Chapman Ct, and Carlson St will be milled tomorrow.
Friday, June 30 - Milling on Childs St, Abbe St, Howard St, and Wilbur St was completed today. Milling will resume next wednesday, July 5th, with Sunrise Ave and Market St.
Thursday, June 29 - Milling on Judd Ave, Charles St, and Fourth St was completed today. Childs St from the north end to Judd Ave was also milled today. The remainder of Childs St, Abbe St, Howard St, and Wilbur St will be milled tomorrow.
Wednesday, June 28 - Milling on Connecticut Ave and City Ave was completed today. Judd Ave between East St and Abbe St was also milled today. The remainder of Judd Ave, Charles St, and Fourth St will be milled tomorrow. Childs St will also be started.
Tuesday, June 27 - Milling on Main St and Beaver St was completed today. Connecticut Av between East St and Market St was also milled today. The reminder of Connecticut Av, City Av and Judd Av will be milled tomorrow.
Monday, June 26 - Milling on Corbin Av and North St was completed today. Main St and the small section of Beaver St will be completed tomorrow. Connecticut Av will also be started.
Friday, June 23 - Corbin Av, from Osgood Av to Horseplain Rd is milled. Corbin Av, from Horseplain Rd to Farmington Av will be milled on Monday. Beaver St (from Main St to 200-ft north of Beaver St) and North St (from Main St to Clark St) will also be milled on Monday.
Thursday, June 22 - Kerin Dr and Fairlane Dr were milled today. Corbin Av, between Osgood Av and Governor St was also started. Work on Corbin Av, between Osgood Av and Farmington Av will continue tomorrow.
Wednesday, June 21 - Stanwood Cr, Stanwwod Dr and Jones Dr were milled today. Kerin Dr and Fairlane Dr will be completed tomorrow. Corbin Av, between Osgood Av and Governor St will also be started.
Tuesday, June 20 - Stanwood Dr and Barnard Dr were milled today. Stanwood Cr was also started today. Stanwood Cr, Beechwood Dr and Jones Dr will be milled tomorrow. Kerin Dr and Fairlane Dr may also be started.
Friday, June 16 - Milling will begin on Tuesday, June 20 and Wednesday, June 21 on Stanwwod Dr, Beechwwod Dr, Jones Dr, Barnard Rd, Stanwood Cr, Kerin Dr,and Farlane Dr.
Thursday, June 15 – Milling is scheduled to begin on June 20th. Paving is scheduled to begin on July 10th. Please see the Projected Tentative Schedule.
