Public Works’ Fleet Division is based out of the Public Works Yard located at 55 Harvard Street, and is staffed by a talented group of mechanics, welders, and fabricators experienced in large and small vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance.  Primary responsibilities of the Fleet Division include:

1. Managing the maintenance and repair of the City’s fleet which includes approximately 450 vehicles and large equipment   
2. Managing the City’s fueling operations 
3. Maintaining repair and maintenance records for all fleet vehicles and equipment. 
4. The development and implementation of Fleet Safety Management Policies and Procedures  
5. Oversite of the City’s Capital Equipment Replacement program 
6. Accident Tracking
