Fees and Forms

Building Permit Fees (also electrical, plumbing , mechanical permits) are based on cost of the work being done.

1st Thousand Dollars $35.00
2nd Thousand Dollars $25.00
3rd Thousand Dollars $15.00 per each thousand or portion thereafter

$25.00 per each thousand or portion thereafter

(a) Construction, alteration, removal, repair, demolition or other building operations per each thousand dollars of value or portion thereof up to two thousand dollars - $25.00
(b)For every one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or portion thereof in excess of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) - $ 1.00

C of O example: $1,000 = $25.00, $2,000 = $50.00, $3,000 = $51.00, $ 4,000 = $52.00, $5,000 = $53.00 etc.

The fees for final re-inspection are fifty dollars ($50.00) for each trade inspector called for re-inspection.

$25.00 Flat Fee

A Certificate of Approval shall be issued indicating substantial compliance with the requirements of this code for all completed work that requires a building permit but does not require a certificate of occupancy.  Such work shall include, but not be limited to: fences over 6 feet in height; retaining wall over 3 feet in height; and electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs or alterations performed in the absence of additional work that requires a certificate of occupancy.

(a) Residential buildings with gross square feet (SF):
Under 1000 SF - $25.00
1001-5000 SF - $50.00
5001-10000 SF - $100.00
Over 10000 SF - $150.00

(b) All other residential buildings (New Construction, addition or accessory structure):
Up to 5000 SF - $100.00
For each Additional 1000 SF or portion - $5.00

(c) Site Plan Approval (No structure) - $50.00

(d) Change of occupancy - $50.00

(e) Telecommunication Towers:
For new towers - $300.00
Co-location - $100.00
Annual Inspection - $100.00

1. $0 through $1,000.00 - $0.00 per $1,000
2. $1,001.00 through $50,00.00
   (per $1,000 or part thereof) - $3.00 per $1,000
3. In excess of $50,000.00
   (per $1,000 or part thereof) - $6.00 per $1,000
