Stanley Golf Course Is Honoring All Veterans Mayor Erin E. Stewart, Parks and Recreation Commission Chairman Patrick Dorsey, and Vice Chairman Paul Shaker, Sr. are pleased to announce that Stanley Golf Course will be honoring Veterans on Friday, November 11, 2016 with a free greens fee. All military personnel and veterans will receive a free greens fee when they show their Veteran ID card (or similar proof). Veterans are encouraged to relax and enjoy the day that is in their honor by playing a round of golf at beautiful Stanley
Golf Course.

“Our Veterans have contributed and done so much for all of us and this is just our small way of saying thank you for their sacrifice”, said Mayor Erin E. Stewart.

Stanley Golf Course located at 245 Hartford Road, New Britain is a beautiful 27-hole championship public golf course with a nineteen station, covered, heated and lighted driving range. The golf course has a fleet of 87 state-of-the art Precedent Excel electric golf carts that promises to enhance the golfer’s experience. Stanley Golf Course is home to an award winning Pro Shop and home to the fine dining and drinking venue of Whinstone Tavern.
