The Parking Office is responsible for coordinating the receipt of monies from parking fines issued by the Police Department, and City of New Britain Parking Monitors, non-payment notices and maintenance of unpaid violations. The Parking Office is responsible for giving proper receipt to all persons paying parking fines and adjusting and updating the City's records to show the payment of such fines.

The Parking Office produces information concerning outstanding fines in an effort to effect a more efficient system of billing and collection through a contractual arrangement with a vendor who provides the data processing services for notifications to the Parking Ticket Appeal Board.
