MAYOR STEWART ANNOUNCES ANNUAL “BUCKETS OF LUCK”
DRAWINGS AT STANLEY GOLF COURSE

New Britain - Mayor Erin E. Stewart and the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department are proud to announce that “Buckets of Luck,” the annual prize drawing for a chance to win a 2021 Season’s Pass to Stanley Golf Course is returning in January 2021.

“Buckets of Luck is back, and we know that the participation will be bigger than ever,” said Mayor Stewart. “This is a great opportunity for golfers throughout central Connecticut to come out and have a shot to win the ultimate prize – a season pass to our amazing Stanley Golf Course. We’re coming off one of our busiest seasons on record at the golf course. Over the 2020 season, Coronavirus forced people to find expanded outdoor recreation and we anticipate that need to continue throughout the winter, spring, and potentially the summer months of 2021. We are glad we have a great asset in Stanley Golf Course for the public to utilize.”

The driving range at Stanley Golf Course is open every day during the winter months from 9:00am-5:00pm; and will remain open until 6:00pm on Fridays throughout the months of January and February of 2021.

“This is a great event for the entire Connecticut community to participate in,” echoed Parks and Recreation Commission Chairman Patrick Dorsey. “We are fortunate to have one of the premier golf courses in central Connecticut and we love to take every opportunity we can to show it off. Buckets of Luck gives golfers a great opportunity to enjoy our fantastic driving range and enter for a chance to win a pass to enjoy our course all season long.”
