Registration Requirements

  1. U.S. Citizen, 18 years of age and a bona-fide resident.
  2. Pre-registration of 17 years of age become eligible to vote on 18th birthday.
  3. If previously convicted of a felony, have completed sentence and had rights restored by a registrar.
  4. Register in Registrar's office from 8:15AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Some form of identification must be presented.
  5. Registration by mail applications are available by calling the Registrar's office or by downloading the form here.
  6. Hearing impaired applicants may call Hartford TDD (860) 566-1730.

Voting Locations

To find voters' polling place, go to:  http://www.dir.ct.gov/sots/lookup.aspx.

Polls are open for all elections and primaries from 6:00 am until 8:00 pm.

Absentee Ballots

Town and City Clerk Peter Denuzze's staff is in charge of Absentee Ballot application requests.  Please call 860-826-3344 to have an application mailed to you.
