New Britain has a population of 76,000+ and is located fifteen minutes from the Capitol City of Hartford. The Parks and Recreation Department will be offering its first ever walking tour of Walnut Hill Park. "A walk through Walnut Hill Park," created by CCSU students Amy Kirby and Aileen Bastos, is a fifteen minute video describing the history of the Frederick Law Olmsted designed masterpiece. The tour starts with the walking path on North Main Street, going up to the World War I monument, then down to Ledgers Way and around the one mile loop. Click here for more info!  Piano and Voice Lessons New Britain Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registrations for the fall, winter, and spring sessions for Piano and Voice Lessons. Lessons are held in City Hall Room 210. Enrollment is limited.
